The hair room has a clear business objective to promote an Organic hair salon & wig fitting service as well as distributing products. These products and services have been developed with experience over the last 1 1/2 years with a core focus on addressing key customer problems and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

When as a key component of our growth strategy I consider it critical to identify and outline my business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones. My key long term business objective is to acquire new clientele. Customer acquisition is considered to be the critical activity. I am seeking to grow the number of clientele. I understand that customer growth could be at the expense of profitability, and that there is a cost associated with customer acquisition. My long term objective is to build a clear customer acquisition process.

The Customer

The hair room has been created with a clear focus on the needs of clients. Through a structured customer discovery process, I have validated the key customer problem as other local competition. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Local community and referred patients.

The Value Proposition

The hair room is uniquely positioned to deliver value to Local community and nhs referred patients. "The hair room will be an Eco friendly salon using only natural, organic and mineral based products. I intend to emphasise on clients that suffer from hair loss or thinning hair, scalp irritations, new hair growth, and other issues such as Trichotillomania, Alopecia, Telogen Effluvium and giving people that suffer from any of these conditions a salon they can go to where they can relax without the need to feel embarrassed and have to explain any of these conditions. I will provide a wig fitting service to patients referred by the nhs and also private fittings. At the same time providing a hairdressing service to the rest of the public to enjoy a chemical free hair service.." In order to deliver on this value proposition, I will deliver a passionate attitude to everything I do and use my experiences and further training courses To reach my goals. I will go out my way to help my clients feel relaxed and cared for at the same time caring for the environment and the health of every strand of hair I come across by using and researching products I believe to be the best on the market . This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of my competitive advantage.

Competitors

I have a number of competitors within the hair dressing & wig fitting market. I consider my key competitors to be: Other local salons. My understanding of these competitors has been used to refine my strategy and value proposition. I believe that I can compete effectively with Other local salons by using Unique organic products, being an eco friendly salon, Providing a wig fitting service, Specialising in hair and scalp issues.


Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months my focus will be to Advertise, promote and launch organic hair products into the local community. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to have regular and returning clientele.These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of my strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: To have a good turn over, expand the business and employ staff.
