Pipe & Climate Center has a clear business objective to distribute Commercial heating refrigeration air conditioning products.

These products have been developed over 2 years with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.

The Business Objectives

As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and
 align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones.

Our key long term business objective is to grow profitability. It is critical that we balance revenue growth with the growth in our cost base. Whilst the desire for profitable growth may constrain our growth rate, it is more important that revenue growth in isolation.

The Customer

Pipe & Climate Center has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as Delivery service. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of Commercial Heating & Refrigeration.

In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we always get results and my recent figures show exactly that.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the Commercial heating refrigeration air conditioning market. We consider our key competitors to be: Tools & fasteners solutions, Derbyshire refrigeration, J & E Hall, BSS, HRP.
. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with Being market leaders we can be confident in competing the likes of Tolls and fasteners Solutions & BSS due to some feedback a number of customers have said that the quality of their stock is not up to the standard that i think our customers are looking for. So I'm hoping that now we have the new pack header codes for the bracketry range and the quality of the product we should be leaders within our area.

The only thing I think we need to compete with J & E Hall is their cellar cooler range, I know that our price has been decreased a while ago but we are not quite there yet.

Derbyshire Refrigeration are a small family run business that I'm envious of because what comes with family businesses is dedicated customers, and it is usually hard to persuade them to stray away from their usual supplier. Although price is the main factor and that is where I have succeeded before in temping them away.

HRP are large established business and one of the main factors I believe in order for us to compete with them is with a branch delivery vehicle.

Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to Maximise margins. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to Employ a new member of staff.

These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are:

Be recognised for our health & safety measures
Obtain 20 more customers
