Have learnt and gained a heap of experience on a wide range of occasions and understand the elements and delicate works needed to removing trees. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.

Competitors

We have a number of competitors within the tree industry. Every day you see a new truck with a different name on it. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively by having more skills, knowledge and experience to get any tree job done professionally. Being a family run business, I'll have less overheads, competitive prices than other small businesses on the peninsula and probably have more experience that half of the other small businesses trying to make it in the industry.

Key Strategies

Over the next 6 months our focus will be to advertise and promote Tim's Trees to build a customer base to provide a quality tree removing service in Frankston and surrounding areas. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to expand my customer base and possibly look at upgrading gear and equipment. These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.

Milestones

Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are: Setting up the business, Building a client base and Establishing my business.
